By road: The Conference Centre is situated on A511 between Woodville and Burton on Trent,
By rail: The nearest railway station is Leicester. There are frequent trains from London (St. Pancras). The fastest take about 1 hour and there are taxis available at the station.
By air: There are flights from many European cities to both East Midlands and Birmingham International airports and also some direct flights from a few U.S. airports.

East Midlands airport is approximately 18 miles from Bretby.
Birmingham International airport is approximately 30 miles from Bretby.

A baroque mansion, dating from 1701-3, set in a stunning landscape park with a beautiful walled garden and orangery. The displays cover the history of brewing, including a description of the work of the Customs Officer, the story of brewery transport and glass and ceramics related to beer drinking. The only museum of bells and bell founding in Britain, it is located in a working bell foundry, John Taylor Bell Founders Ltd.
The house contains an eclectic collection including a natural history collection and a magnificent 18th century state bed There is also as a collection of vintage cars with the Worthington Bottle car and the stables of the Bass Shire horses. There is original material relating to bells, their history and fittings.
