Lot 963 Lot 963 HOLTZAPFFEL & DEYERLEIN No 1261 screw cutting treadle lathe with shepherds crook overhead gear and 44" iron bed on double mahogany frame with back board. The 5" traversing mandrill with 6 groove brass pulley and 4 rows of divisions with index, Six star nut with 6 screw hobs, ornamental rests with flute stops, hand rest, screw barrel tailstock, thin turning steady and stand. Included is a quality mahogany 4 drawer chest with sliding blind containing eccentric chuck, geared and universal cutting frames and 3 others, drilling spindle, 5 brass chucks, 3 brass backplates, sloping cutter box with 54 cutters, 3 T rests, centre and chuck adaptor, Jacobs drill chuck, ornamental chuck spanner and large flywheel spanner, some professional restoration has taken place and there are light pitting spots on some parts o/w G++ (Est. £2000-3000) Lot 963 (part)
