scale, working copies of 17th C.. Dutch wheel lock pistols in figured
walnut, the ivory butts beautifully carved as helmeted soldiers, both
with an inlaid ivory hare and other ivory fittings and with silver
ferrules, the flint wheel winds up and springs back to produce a spark,
they are said to have been made by a Bath silversmith's apprentice in
